Medusas
Salorino's Medusas
Each recycled harrow disc with the slate and aluminium tentacles weighs 12 kilos. The blowing wind moves the Medusa’s and makes the arcs inclining vertically, the tentacles touch and make a nice light sound.
As Medusa from Greek mythology is always pictured in front of a mirroring surface I placed my Medusa’s in a pond. Lamentably in summer the water dries up.
And if you think: they look like jellyfish… that’s correct. The Spanish word for jellyfish is medusa.
